Highlights

  • Postural Practice and techniques: Biomechanical principles of functional movement and adaptations for over 100 yoga postures and their variations
  • Anatomy and Physiology: Basic anatomy and physiology, mind-body connection, safe and healthy movement, injury prevention, and system-specific insights
  • Pranayama and Meditation: Techniques for breathwork and mindfulness
  • Teaching Methodology: Sequencing, cueing, classroom management, ethics, and business of yoga
  • Hands-on experience: Practice teaching with individualized feedback and mentoring
  • Philosophy: History of yoga, wisdom teachings from the major texts of the yoga tradition, Yogic principles, Energy body, and Hatha Yoga tradition
Program structure

Structure

Our hybrid program combines in-person and online learning components (165 in-person hours, 35 online hours) designed to fit within the academic year:

Online Component:

  • 14 Zoom sessions, every second Tuesday evening - 35 hours

In-Person Component:

Five-Day Intensives (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
